In class you may hear your teachers say "spread your toes" when going into or holding certain poses. I know some of you might wonder how it's even possible to spread your toes, but we're all born with the ability; the ability is simply lost by a lifetime of cramming our feet into restrictive shoes, even shoes that technically "fit". My grandmother is about to turn 95 and has probably been wearing her shoes too small for about 80 years, which has resulted in her toes being painfully jammed together and caused all sorts of problems. I got her a pair of these to try, and after a few weeks of wearing them for about an hour a day, her toes had visibly spread and she said a lot of the discomfort had gone away. Even if you don't have problems with your feet, spreading the toes really helps to bring you into a greater state of relaxation, so this is wonderful product to own if you're trying to relieve stress.
